Learn the basic ratio behind making lip balms in this beginner's workshop. We'll be making two batches of lip products during this class. The first will be a sheer lip tint, colored with pearlescent mica, and packaged in lip balm tubes. The second batch will be a softer recipe meant for lip balm pots. We'll have fun mixing and matching lip balm flavors while discussing the basics of lip balm ratios and recipes, and different additives that can be used to scent, color, and adjust texture.

Each student will leave the class with one share of the products made that day. If we have a full class, that will work out to about 4 lip tints and 8 lip balms per person.

The class fee is $15 with a $10 fee for supplies, making tuition for this workshop $25 each. We'll need a minimum of five students to sign up for the class, and sign-ups will end Monday, August 20. (If we don't reach the class minimum anyone who signed up will be refunded, and the class will either be canceled or rescheduled to a later date.)

Class will be held in my South Austin home. The address will be provided to those who sign up. We do have pets, so those with allergies to cats and dogs please keep this in mind. Thanks!
