Reading online docs and guides can be confusing when first making the transition to Git, so this class is intended to make you ready to start working on projects with Git by the end of it. This will be a very hands-on class, so be sure to bring your laptops!
This class is intended for anyone who is either a beginner or completely new to Git. Having used other version control systems in the past would be helpful, but definitely not necessary to learn Git. We'll try to make this class very hands-on, so everybody should bring a computer if possible to practice the concepts during class. If you've used Git briefly already, but have questions or just want to become more comfortable with it, there will also be time at the end of class for questions/etc.
