This class is an introduction to computer programming concepts for absolute beginners. You don't need any prior programming knowledge, we'll take those first steps together.
Everyone can learn to program. It's a tangible, real-world skill that can help you land a job, or solve a problem, or just have some fun. And, trust me, it will make you a better thinker.
We'll learn some very basic terminology, set up some free tools, and get you started writing your first program (in a language called JavaScript). Hopefully, you will come away more comfortable with what programming is, more understanding of what problems it can solve, and some good, old-fashioned excitement to keep learning.
