Are you a non-technical founder and you just want to get your website off the ground quickly?
Are you a technical founder, who can create the technology, but not sure how to create the best user experience?
I will help you understand the differences between UX, UI, IA and other two-word acronyms that you’ve heard flying around. You will learn the fundamentals of UX and actionable applications. You will learn how to improve the UX of your existing site or how to think about UX for your next project.
We will discuss examples from real companies to illustrate the key elements of UX that will keep your users coming back and spreading the word.
Also, we will be asking enrolled students with an existing product to submit their current sites for critique in front of the class. By the end of this class you'll know how to think like a UX/UI pro!
Please be sure to read the testimonials from the previous classes, including:
Dan Ferrante (attended Introduction to UX for Startup Founders (LEAN 123)) “Got lots of great info, thanks!”
Scott Harris (attended Introduction to UX for Startup Founders (LEAN 123)) “I can't express how great this class was. An insightful intro followed by our projects analyzed by a pro. If you're just starting, this class is a fast trac to the right path. If you've got a live product, you'll leave with a detailed list of specific, actionable UX improvements. If you're serious about what you're doing, take this class now. ”
The class is held at The Alley, home to early companies needing shared space, growing companies needing dedicated space, and an accelerator program for those just getting started.
