A lot of people would like to build web pages either for fun or profit. Fortunately, this is a skill that can easily be learned without a college degree. In this beginner's course, you will first learn how to create basic HTML pages. From there, you'll learn to make your pages more stylish using CSS. Finally, we'll make your pages more exciting and dynamic by throwing in some JavaScript.
For this class you will need the following:
  • A laptop (preferably running Windows)
  • Firefox web browser. You can download it free at http://www.mozilla.org
  • A text editor. I recommend another free program called TextPad

Please note that the room for this class does not have any power outlets, so make sure that your laptop battery is fully charged.
