What You’ll Learn

This course is designed to provide an introduction to Arduinos and electronics by workshopping bike-related projects.  No prior programming knowledge or electronics experience is required.  Projects include:

  • turning indicators
  • strobe light
  • brake lights
  • speedometer / odometer
  • battery pack
Although these projects are designed with bikes in mind, the skills (and components) are important or useful for a myriad of electronics projects.  If the course sounds interesting but you'd prefer to workshop something different, I'd be more than happy to accomodate!

The price of the course includes materials. Please let me know if you already own an Arduino.

About Your Teacher
Jenna DeBoisblanc · @jdeboisblanc

I took an electronics course in college and have been working with Arduinos ever since.  I built an electronic MIDI xylophone, which you can check out on Youtube.  In addition, I have experience teaching an introductory electronics course titled, "Arduino Basics: Electronics for Artists and Hobbyists," and consistently receive positive feedback. Each time I offer the course I think of new and better ways to improve the classroom experience.
