There are a number of non-developers today interested in learning more about the technical side of things.  However, the challenge for a non-technical person is where to start learning.  There’s so much information out there that it can be overwhelming and even daunting.  This class is designed to provide a general overview and background of core computing concepts, and to help students get started on the right path.

Who this class is for:

• People with an idea that want to know how to get started executing their idea from a technical standpoint.
• People who want to be able to talk more knowledgeably with programmers and technical people.

What students will learn:

• Key computing concepts and trends, as well as the different types of coding.
• There will also be a substantial Q&A session, so come armed with questions and examples of products that you want to learn how to build.
