What You’ll Learn

The iPhone and Instagram together allow you to take beautiful photos that can move beyond your basic snapshot into a more refined image. In this class, we'll focus on how to take photos on the iPhone that are deliberate and visually compelling, and how to then use Instagram to create the best possible image. (This is an introduction class; click here for the advanced class.)

What You'll Take Away From The Class:

How to use the iPhone camera, including HDR
Basic editing with third party iPhone apps
How to decide what to shoot, and what images make the best Instagram photos
Uploading photos to Instagram
Choosing the best filters, creating titles, using hashtags
How to navigate the community and the essentials of good Instagram etiquette
Information about photowalks with other Instagram members
How to build a following

We will also have a photowalk (where exactly is TBD, but it will be great!) for the second half of the class.
