This is the tequila class in our 'Intro to...' classes. We'll be delving into the differences between blanco, anejo, and reposado. What do these words mean, and what can we infer about the flavours from them? We'll break down the reputation of this 'fiery' and 'dangerous' spirit. What makes a tequila a tequila? What is a sotol, a chihuahua, and a mezcal, and how has the consumption of this product changed over the years? Cocktails for this class will be the el diablo, a tequila old fashioned, and a variation on a margarita. All participants will get a chance to taste the tequilas in question, and make their favorite cocktail from the class.
