What do these words mean, and what can we infer about the flavours from them? We'll break down the reputation of this 'fiery' and 'dangerous' spirit. What makes a tequila a tequila? What is a sotol, a chihuahua, and a mezcal, and how has the consumption of this product changed over the years?
Cocktails for this class will be the el diablo, a tequila old fashioned, and a variation on a margarita.
All participants will get a chance to taste the tequilas in question, and make their favorite cocktail from the class.
