In four course sessions, learn the essentials to video editing from basic cuts to color correction, audio tweaking, and different formats for online and DVD distribution. A full overview of the FCP interface and basic tool kit will be followed by lessons in logging and capturing, basic media management and workflow, three point editing, importing audio files, basic transitions, audio and video filters. Students are encouraged to bring their own video footage to edit with but the instructor will provide raw material for those who need it.
