What You’ll Learn

This class will cover the very basics of After Effects. We will run through a project that I have created especially for this class. Topics will include:

  1. How Layers Work in AE.
  2. Navigating aroung AE.
  3. What a Composition is and how a pre-compositions can be utlized.
  4. What are keyframes and how to use them to animate.
  5. What expressions are and how they can be used.
  6. How to parent objects and why its useful.
  7. How to use a particle system.
  8. How to make something really cool.
Bring your laptop to follow along. I will give you a list of resources from around the web that will be super useful as you grow your After Effects careers. 

 

 

Beginner Level

It would be ideal if you had After Effects already but its not mandatory. Bring your computers if you can to follow along.
