The intermediate rails workshop is designed for developers who have built a few smaller rails applications and would like to start making more complicated ones. In this workshop we’ll discuss rails routing in depth, complex associations, uploading files, debugging, basic unit tests, and many other topics. The workshop focuses on building an application over the course of 2 days that will tie in all of these topics.

Students are expected to know ruby, how to create a basic rails application on their own, and should have experience with a relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Breakfast and lunch will be provided on both days.

Prerequisites
Students taking this workshop should have some general experience with both Ruby and Ruby on Rails. A familiarity with the basic concepts of OOP is necessary. The typical student for this workshop leaves here with knowledge of how to create more complicat
