What You’ll Learn

You spend most of your day on email, in meetings and on phonecalls. Don't suck at it. In this class, I will tell you what no-one else is telling you - the pain you are creating when you suck at email, meetings and calls, and how to not suck at it. This session will include The Basics: rules for getting the best attention for investors and customers, followed by Q&A.

The focus will be on emailing, social networking, basics of engagement and how to do it better. Learn the best way to approach investors, send cold-emails like a pro, understand the Do's & Don'ts of communicating with your existing investors, and other tips for getting VCs & Angels to support your startup.

Note: All proceeds will be donated to Raise Cache, a benefit fashion show on November 17th to celebrate NY tech and raise $100,000 for HackNY. Help celebrate NYC as the epicenter of Tech, fashion, art, culture and music while fostering the next generation of innovators.
