Sign up for the March 6th online class!
This class is for creative writing hobbyists, aspiring creative writers, and anyone who wants to add a dash of humor to their writing.
You experience comedy everyday from your job woes to your family drama to your dating disasters. Why not craft those stories not just into personal blog posts but into humorous essays?
Inspired by New Yorker contributor David Sedaris and other writers, you'll learn:
In this limited-enrollment workshop, you'll participate in quick humor writing exercises, read published examples of funny writing, get tips on improving your drafts, and leave the class with tons of comedy resources.
Most importantly, you'll have the chance to ask in-depth questions of someone who has been there. Grace Bello (me, writing in the third person) turned her office anecdotes into humorous stories for Splitsider and McSweeney's.
Sign up now for this engaging creative writing workshop.
