What You’ll Learn

Think you're ready to be one of the first employees at a fast-growing startup? Chances are you're thinking of all the glamorous feature ideas and disruptive strategies you think you can bring to the table.

The truth is that for an early startup, what matters most is hustle: someone who can get sh** done every day.

Students will learn:

  • How to send a cold email that leaves a lasting impression
  • How to step their online resume game up via Twitter/Blogs/Quora & other assets necessary for 'digital natives'
  • How networking can increase your chances (in ways you didn't imagine)
  • How to add value to an organization you're interested from day one & deliver valuable contributions to a young startup
  • How to prove your nickname should be "shipping"
  • And most importantly, what busy CEO's are looking for in their earliest hires

Come to class prepared with 1-2 startups in mind that you are really excited about / might want to work for one day, and together we'll come up with ideas on how to make it happen!
