What You’ll Learn

Need help getting your startup idea off the ground? Come join Skillshare Co-Founder, Michael Karnjanaprakorn, as he shares his tips and insights on how to take your concept from idea to launch without writing one line of back-end code. We launched the first version of Skillshare leveraging existing tools that already existed to test our idea (so you don't need a technical co-founder in the early days!)

Michael will showcase the different stages (exploring, brainstorming, feedback, and launching your MVP) with Skillshare and how they turned a $5,000 initial investment from the founders into a $3.1M investment from Union Square Ventures and Spark Capital.

Class Format: We'll be "flipping" the traditional model of a class. There will be no lecture. Prior to the class, I'll send you the presentation and some readings. During the class, we'll have an Interactive Workshop and Q&A session. You'll be working with small groups to walk out the class with actionable steps to make your ideas happen.

Pre-Class Readings: Prior to the class, you will be required to read "How to Launch Your Startup for Less than $5,000". I will also send the presentation prior to the class and links to several other articles. Please come prepared.

Note: All proceeds will be donated to HackHarvard, which is an incubator at Harvard College.
