This class is for those of you who are either shooting events on the side and/or ready for a full-time career shooting events.  Concerts, conferences, parties, galas and press conferences are all in a days work for the event photographer and I'll be customizing the class based on the attendees list so I'll want to get a bit of input on what types of focus to have during this workshop. 

We'll go into a bit of the techniques, gear, approach, etc. that are the basis for every event photographer's coverage.   We may be doing a bit of on-hands practice as well depending on what skill level the majority of the class is.  Flash use and how to shoot without flash will be another area of focus.  

We'll also have time for Q&A at the end...

Prerequisites:

DSLR, familiarity with most operations (shooting in Manual mode, for example), external flash (recommended),  

I'd definitely include some hands-on practice time in the class session
