What You’ll Learn

Ever wonder how those guys got into TechStars? Or if it's really just about having a killer team and product? The program has been known to frequently change the lives of the founders and companies that enter it, but less than 1 in 600 applicants gets into TechStars, and the numbers are getting worse.

The good news is there are ways hack the process. Things you can do to turbo charge your chances, and more importantly get more out of it.

The class is taught by Lee Hoffman, CEO of Veri, Caren Maio, CEO of Nestio, and Jonathan Wegener CEO of Friendslist/4SquareAnd7YearsAgo, three recent TechStars NY graduates who took completely different paths to get into and get the most out TechStars. All three companies have recently graduated the program and are or have raised significant rounds from A-list investors.

This class will focus primarily on Lee, Caren, and Jonathan's experience getting into, and navigating TechStars and the subsequent fundraising processes, but the knowledge is applicable other programs and generally networking and raising capital.

All proceeds from this class will go to Light The Night - The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
