Have you ever wished you had the power to design anything your heart desired and have it magically created out of thin air? Now you can.

Learn how to digitally design and 3D-print your own toy frisbee or flying disk for your next Ultimate or Discathon throwdown. Select and use a computer software of your choice: Tinkercad, SketchUp, Sculptris, or Rhino and Grasshopper. I will introduce the basics and work with you side by side to design your own toy frisbee.

All software will be introduced, with a focus on Rhino and Grasshopper. Beginners welcome.

Mac and Windows users welcome.

We’ll make our 3D-printed frisbees using a strong and flexible plastic material available in four awesome colors. Customize your frisbee with your own airfoil design—give it three wings, make a classic round disk, and more.

Explore how digital design can reveal new ideas and provide fresh inspiration for all your future projects. You’ll play with computers, learn professional skills, and—best of all—you’ll walk away with the knowledge to design your own toy frisbee good for countless hours of summertime fun.
