What You’ll Learn

If you are a foodie in NYC, then you know that the French macaron is becoming the next trendy treat. But the price per cookie -- quelle horreur -- can be upwards of $2.50. In this class, you will learn how to successfully bake your own French macarons at home, which make a showstopping dessert at a dinner party or an excellent gift. And of course, if you just want to enjoy them all yourself, nobody is stopping you! Each person will leave class with a small box of macarons to take home!

This is a hands-on class, so come prepared to bake! Please note that macarons are made with almond flour -- if you have any allergy concerns, feel free to message me before signing up!

Beginner Level

No prior baking or cooking experience is required -- just a willingness to learn!

About Your Teacher

Publicist by day, foodie always. I began making macarons in 2009 after seeing them on food blogs and in fancy pastry shops in the city. Pretty much everything that could possibly go wrong with these cookies has happened to me, but my many trial-and-error experiences (and a little help from a class in Paris) have finally produced what I find to be a darn good macaron.
