Week 2:

I borrowed a digital SLR this weekend. Fellow students, if you are frustrated by how your photos are coming out and you are using a point & shoot or camera phone, please know it's probably not you. It's the camera! Look at the difference between week 1 and 2 (point & shoot vs. SLR).

So now I have a few attempts with the red theme. I am really struggling with the lighting! What do I expect with a point & shoot, I guess?

This one has too much shadow, but I liked the composition.

I liked the messiness of this one but still not thrilled.
