This is a class for anyone that has always wanted to take better food photos but wasn't sure where to begin. We will discuss lighting, composition, and white balance. We will also take a look at food photos submitted by the students and discuss as a class what can be done to improve them. This will be a hands-on class. Each student will be provided with their own plate of food from 61 Local to photograph, so please bring your own camera (DSLRs preferred but point-and-shoots are welcomed) and room for some food.

Note: This class is meant to be fun and casual. Be sure to grab a drink at the bar beforehand and meet your fellow classmates. You will be able to pick a vegetarian or meat dish to photograph. Please leave comments on specific things you would like to go over during class.
