Las Vegas Tea Series is a joint effort by Naomi Rosen (Joy’s Teaspoon) and Ashanti McGee (Iron Kettle Teas) to bring about awareness, education and a sense of tea community.

What started out as a wonderful hobby of sipping tea after a trip to Chicago in 2005, quickly turned into a passion of finding quality teas with people that, like me, love chatting with friends over tea or laughing with family over an incredible meal. Joy's Teaspoon was launched in April 2010 with 32 tea blends, 10 spices and herbs and a handful of teawares. We have since added to the collection and now proudly offer over 75 loose leaf teas and 30+ spices. Our focus remains sourcing from socially/environmentally responsible growers and providing a quality cup of tea.

When I’m not heating water, I’m training for a triathlon, playing with my kids (JJ-4 and Gavin-1) or “supervising” my husband’s (JR) home improvement projects. He loves having me around!

After spending months at school with a few barista friends, I discovered that tea was my drink of choice. Learning about tea, tea history, and its folklore became an endless obsession. Iron Kettle Teas is a specialty tea company located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Launched this March, we're a new company, specializing in artisan loose leaf teas. We focus heavily on the arts and sciences; as we consider these disciples are paramount to the process of tea producing and blending. All blends are handmade created with quality ingredients and most herbs and fruit infusions are sourced locally.

Painting (when I get the chance), hiking, and eating with family and friends are favored pastimes. You can find me and my wacky family out at dinner or visiting a local art gallery.
