Read the review of the class in the Boston Business Journal.

Here's the short version... this class is designed for people new to Boston, or people who are new to startups or people who just haven't yet figured out how to break into the Boston startup community. You'll leave the class having a great understanding of the different people, organizations, and events with which to be involved, how to get started, and how to brand yourself. The end of the class will be about building your own personal gameplan for breaking into the Boston startup community.
In fact, this is really more a workshop than a traditional class.

Andrew Rosenthal · HBS StartupTribe / Massive Health

Like a good founding team, Andrew and Jeff have very different, but complimentary backgrounds. Both instructors were new to the Boston tech scene and quickly became active, and recognized.

Jeff has a CS degree from Stanford, founded a company and sold it, and just raised a round of capital for a new startup, serving the technical needs of mobile developers. Jeff's hired loads of developers and mentored plenty in the area.

Andrew co-founded a company (with an exit a lot less successful than Jeff's) and is finishing up an MBA at Harvard Business School while also working as the first business employee at a San Francisco consumer health startup. He helps lead the HBS #StartupTribe, and has developed a network of founders, funders, and mentors spanning much of the Boston ecosystem.
