It's time to mix things up.

This class will be good for

  • Beginners who want to get into (or back into) making art,
  • Anyone who wants to try dabbling in some art for a night,
  • People who want to explore an idea or topic with different parts of their brain, and
  • Experienced artists who want to mix up their practice.

Students will:

  • Learn techniques for using several types of pencil and colored pencil, markers, ink, collage, acrylic paint, and acrylic mediums alone and in all sorts of combinations,
  • Learn techniques for creating strong complex and layered compositions with meaning,
  • Strengthen drawing and rendering skills,
  • Delve into their own subconcious gfd to explore a topic of their choosing,
  • Get a good work-out for their creativity muscles, and
  • Have a particularly satisfying sort of fun.

You’ll go home with a nice piece of your own art.

This class goes well with "How to use visual art to build community and raise awesomeness."

Prerequisites
This workshop is a good complement to "How to use visual art to build community and raise awesomeness." Beginner and experienced artist can all benefit from this class.
