Project: Home décor- simple pillow cover for a 16"x16" throw pillow

Skills you will learn:  The basics of how to use a sewing machine & how to cut & sew a simple pillow cover

Educational Extras:  Learn about organic & sustainable materials and the best resources to purchase sustainable fabrics from.  Get an insider’s view about the textile industry, the fair trade fabric market, and receive tools to make more ethical choices in your fabric

Bring: 1/2 yard of fabric you'd like to use & fabric scissors.  if you have your own sewing machine that is easy to transport, go ahead and bring it and I can help you learn to sew on your own machine. If you don't have one, that's ok- we'll have one the class can share.
