Marissa Feinberg · Entrepreneur. Publicist. Marketeer.

Marissa Feinberg is co-founder of Green Spaces, aiming to further sustainability with local hubs for global change, starting with where you work. It's a shared coworking space for entrepreneurs who do good. In addition, Marissa is co-founder of Flockd, a new low-tech product for your tabletop that signals when you're free, when you're busy and what you want to "flock" about. Marissa also does PR consulting, having done with with Sunshine Sachs, representing The Nature Conservancy, Earth Day Network and Water For People. SHe has also represented clients in the social entrepreneurship space like StartingBloc, CleanEdison, and She Creates Change, among other corporate social responsibility leaders like General Electric. She has a degree in PR from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. However, all lessons in this workshop come from her experience as a DIY self-taught entrepreneurial PR person, with some case studies on green and socially minded companies that can be applied to startups of all industries!
