Subjects include still life, portraiture, landscapes, and the figure. According to interest, I will create separate classes for youth, teens, and adults. My class is very relaxed in that students are very focused and work at their own pace, yet the assignments are structured and there is always a task at hand. For example, there will be objects or subjects set up for you. One class, you may be drawing a live model, and another class you may be painting a bouquet of flowers. At the end of each class, there will be a light critique and an opportunity to hear what is working in your piece. The critique is very friendly and will offer you positive feedback and encouragement. Students in my classes are very focused and hardworking with goals in mind. I will guide you and help you develop your own style.
