Come to this Collaborative Design Review and showcase your work to other designers to share and receive feedback. This is best suited for people who can come prepared with specific problems they’re trying to get feedback on or areas of design they’re looking to get better at. It helps if you bring your laptop or print out your work to show to others!
Being that I work primarily in web product design and development today, I'm most comfortable giving experienced feedback in these areas. But I'm also happy giving feedback on your portfolio if you're looking to move from doing client work to product at a startup!
How does it work?
I've been interested in Web Design since I was riding BMX in the 8th grade and wanted to publish photos of my friends and their bikes on the internet. Since then, design has evolved from a hobby of mine into a career and passion for the craft.
I work as a Product Designer at Kickstarter by day, and at night I bounce between motion graphics and designing and building my own product ideas.
I received a BA in Motion Graphic Design in 2009, and the thing I miss most about design school is the constant feedback you get from an outside perspective. So if there's any work you'd like to share and get feedback on, or if you're looking for a review of your portfolio, I'd be happy to help in any way I can!
