Focusing on fresh and seasonal ingredients in tried-and-true preparations that are quick, stress-free and actually fun to make on a date together, author/chef Cathy Erway will offer hardy tips on how to pull off a date meal at home anytime. The recipes we'll go over (and eat) during this class were chosen for their practicality as well as the accumulated responses from three years of guests on Cathy's podcast, Let's Eat In, on Heritage Radio Network; every guest on the show is asked what they think makes the “perfect date meal.”
As a bonus, we'll sample three paired wines with these courses chosen by sommelier/wine marketing maven Katarina Maloney! Kat will tell us about how to choose wines for your meal, and get us a little tipsy. Students are encouraged to come solo, with their partner, or with a blind date!
