Students 5/20

Wish you could find—or make—exciting, unique jewelry? Want to take your crocheting to the next level?

If you answered YES to both questions, this class if for you!

Learn how to crochet wire metal—from silver to gold, including brass and copper—in a single or double thread. Then, combine it with beads, leather, or natural fibers. By the end of the class, you'll have a jewelry piece and a few techniques and ideas to continue on your own.

Prerequisites: Basic crocheting skills advised. All materials and tools provided.

NOTE: This class will be a little longer than previous so we have enough time to get our hands dirty!

Elena’s Credentials

Graphic designer by day, crafter extraordinaire by night.

I've been making things for as long as I can remember. As a child, I didn't play with dolls but "toys" I made combining found objects with familiar materials: fabric, clay, paint. Much later, in Fine Arts & Design schools, I explored art processes and techniques, and learned the language of color, form, and shape.

From crocheting jewelry, soap making or printing, building furniture and casting concrete, I love getting my hands dirty playing with as many materials as I can.
