This is a 3 week course with 6 sessions, for anyone who wants to get started with Creative Suite.
We'll cover the most efficient ways to perform common editing tasks, including noise reduction, shadow and highlight detail recovery, retouching, and combining multiple images. Core concepts and techniques that apply to any workflow in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Whether designing for print, the web, or assets for other applications, you'll learn the basic skills needed to get you started. This course includes a detailed explanation of the elements that make up vector and raster graphics.

A laptop with CS5 or higher installed, [if you don't want to buy Creative Suite yet, you can download the trial version on the Adobe site for this course till you get familiar with it and decide to purchase it later. You can also use Creative Cloud. You can find info on that on the Adobe Site.] This course is for beginners with little to no experience designing or editing in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
In short, I'm a Visual Designer at iKreative VC, Governors Island and Beekman, working with both print and web. I'm in love with all things Creative Suite and I've been working with it since I was 13 years old.
On a deeper level, I'm an artist, designer, photographer, part time architect and full time coffee connoisseur. I spend most nights painting, days designing websites and ads, middays designing interiors and weekends photographing people.
