Purpose builds social movements to help solve major global problems. We partner with some of the world’s biggest companies and mission-driven organizations, and we also launch our own movements.
Our work combines key insights from political organizing, behavioral psychology, and brand strategy. We use the power of storytelling, technology and branding to enable large numbers of people to come together, take action and self-organize.
In this class, you'll learn how to craft a compelling public narrative, develop a clear theory of change, and create a spectrum of actions online and off to move your constituents up the commitment curve. Members of the Purpose strategy team will join 'after-hours' to discuss current projects and the social movement hall of fame.
Co-Teachers: This class will be co-taught with Lauren Rodman, Erika Johansson, and Alnoor Ladha (all members of the Purpose team).
Note: All proceeds will go to AllOut.Org, a Purpose-incubated organization building a truly global community able to advance the lives and freedoms of LGBT people—everywhere.
This class is part of the "School of Social Good" semester hosted by The Feast. Skillshare is also awarding $1,000 in scholarships for students. Learn more about getting a Skillshare scholarship.
