Signs That Your Pitch Sucks

• You cannot explain your business without powerpoint.
• You are unable to explain your business in 140 characters or less.
• People constantly ask: "What's your company do again?"

The first half of the class is a lecture on the mechanics of an effective pitch, both written and verbal. The second half is a hands-on practice and critique session where students pitch their ideas to each other and ultimately the whole class, receiving feedback and pointers throughout the process. 

The goal of this class is for each student to leave with:

• a formula for crafting a clear, concise elevator pitch.
• examples of clear, concise pitches.
• specific, actionable feedback on his or her own elevator pitch.
