What You’ll Learn

Your camera is more powerful than you think.

Not only can you capture images, but you can meet some of the most amazing people you will ever know.

This class will teach you about the ins and outs of photo communities and by the end, you will be able to choose which ones are best for you!

What do you need for this class?

An open mind is the most important thing you will need. It may also be helpful to bring a laptop, tablet, or smartphone so you can follow along, but it's not necessary.

You should also have an idea of what you want to get out of a community. Ask me questions! I'm here to help you.

It may also be helpful if you bring your favorite or most used camera. It could be film, digital, iPhone...whatever tickles your fancy.

Which communities will we be discussing?

Lots! We will covering Flickr, Instagram, Tumblr, meeting face-to-face, and many more. We'll even go into specfic communites that cater to specific types of photography (black and white, film, mobile, people that like a little alcohol with their photography...).
