This tasting class is going to be an exploration into many different cigars from different countries. We'll all be tasting several cigars with tobaccos from, for example, the Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador, Brazil, and the USA.

For example, in wines, different grapes, growing regions, and fermentation/aging processes will affect the way a wine tastes. This tasting class is designed to inform us about what elements affect the flavors, aroma, and enjoyment of a cigar.

We hope you enjoy the Cigar 201 class and please feel free to leave questions or comments or suggestions below for this class.

Note: the cigar 101 class is not a pre-requisite for this class. However, it helps to have the basics under your belt. Here's a link to the cigar 101 class: http://bit.ly/pf5bGc

About Maraya Cigars: MARAYA promotes the enjoyment of cigar smoking as an artisanal pleasure. We want to enjoy cigars when and where we please, at appropriate times and in appropriate places without being forced into smoking rooms. One of MARAYA's founding principles is consideration of others. In turn, cigar enthusiasts are to be looked upon as those who simply enjoy relaxing from time to time with a fine, quality cigar. We celebrate the craft of cigar-making as an artisinal form of appreciation -- today and for continued generations -- and encourage the freedom to continue making great cigars and connecting with the natural instinct of pursuing their enjoyment.
