What You’ll Learn

Have lots of data? Need to show it off? Then this class is for you. We will begin with how the anatomy of the human eye should influence our color choices. Next we will discuss how different types of data are best displayed. We will talk about how color and chart choice should be driven by the data we are visualizing. Charting will be done in Excel and Python, but no programming experience is required. Bring some data that you are trying to visualize. The class will consist of a presentation and then discussion of individual student's unique problems when making charts.
