We are going to look at best practices in the field of layout automatisation and production for structured media (product catalogues etc.) We start out with just the structured data (from a cms, ecommerce site, Product information system) and develop the templates for an actual publication. Finally we output a 500 pages document in 3 languages.
You will have to be proficient in Indesign, with basic layout and typography knowledge. The class is geared towards designers, producers, that already create media in indesign professionally and want to improve their workflow by integrating backend systems without copy pasting :-) This class takes place in Berlin, Germany.
