Tyler Hill · Butter Lane Cupcake Class Instructor

Tyler Hill hails from Huntington, West Virginia, where he joined Jamie Oliver’s crew as a food stylist in Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution on ABC. Following that experience, Tyler seized the opportunity to Assistant Food Style for Nigella Lawson on a number of TV spots in New York City.  Tyler worked under Jen Gammon at The Bakery on Court Street in Lewisburg, West Virginia, which was dubbed a “must-see location” in the ‘Coolest Small Town in America’ by Budget Travel Magazine.  Tyler relocated to New York City in the summer of 2012 and worked at Donna Bell’s Bake Shop in Hell’s Kitchen.  Pauley Perrette featured his 7-Layer Bar recipe in People Magazine’s “Sweet Treat” section, October 2012.  Tyler currently teaches at Butter Lane, runs a catering business (bushwickbakers@gmail.com), and bakes and slings pizzas at Verde Coal Oven in Bushwick, New York.
