    1) Identified sources of finding talent (ex. LinkedIn, Dribble, personal network)
    2) A “company culture” check-list that each candidate should fit
    3) A process for courting & closing top-prospects
  • Collaboration: share your ideas, notes, strategies & findings in the “Classroom Discussion”

Michael Karnjanaprakorn · CEO/Co-founder of Skillshare

Michael Karnjanaprakorn is the CEO/co-founder of Skillshare, a community marketplace to learn anything from anyone, anywhere. In addition to his role at Skillshare, Michael is a Venture Advisor at Collaborative Fund, an NYC-based seed-stage venture firm. Previously, Michael led the product team at Hot Potato, which was acquired by Facebook, and developed products and services that organized the creative world at Behance. Michael is also a 2012 TED Fellow, and listed as one of the 100 Most Creative People in Business in 2012 by Fast Company.

Peter Boyce will be the T.A. for this Skillshare. Peter works in Business Development & Marketing at Skillshare, and works with Michael on new deal evaluation at Collaborative Fund. Previously, Peter worked at Skillshare as “Founder Apprentice.” Before Skillshare, Peter worked at Bad Boy Entertainment as Business Development analyst, and as a summer analyst at an NYC-based hedge fund covering technology. He studies Applied Math & Sociology at Harvard, where he is beginning his senior thesis on VC & startup networks.
