What You’ll Learn
There is no standard way to build and deliver a great pitch. In this case-based course we will run through a collaborative process of designing and delivering a great pitch. The class will culminate with a small group excercise, in which you'll work in teams to develop a pitch. Groups will then present and the class debriefs on each pitch, reviewing the fundamentals of the class material.

About Your Teacher
Fred Destin · Partner, Atlas Ventures

Fred Destin wanted to the lead singer for Pulp but since that job was taken he decided to become a venture capitalist. He has seen and forgotten many pitches, but the ones he remembers vividly have shaped his perception of what makes for a great sell. Fred has made a fool of himself many times on stage despite having trained with National Theatre actors on the art of the presentation  - this has also shaped a passion for great delivery and storytelling.  When he is not training at Intelligent.ly you will find him at the Atlas Venture office at 25 1st St in Cambridge, usually pretending he knows the key to startup success. He sits on many boards and has done many investments and all that. He tries hard not to be arrogant but often fails to stay on the right line of confident and his narcissistic tendencies are evidenced by the need to write a blog (www.freddestin.com) and overzealous twitter activity (@fdestin). He's Belgian, which is neither relevant nor helpful.
