Whether you are an undergradate looking to prepare for the intense full-time consulting application process or a professional looking to switch to those fields, a strong resume is critical to getting noticed by any firm, large or small. There are also many things that recruiters look for when selecting candidates and we'll go through the nooks and crannies in this class.

What you'll learn

In this class you'll learn how to highlight your strengths and skills, structure your experiences to get noticed by employers and format your resume professionally.

You will leave this session with an understanding of how recruiters look at resumes, and what you can do to get noticed. 

Class Format/Agenda

This class will be done over skype or in person if you are in New York and will last about 45 minutes.

This class will cover the following areas:

  • What recruiters look for and how they skim resumes
  • How to tailor your resume to the job you're applying for
  • Key formatting standards
  • Q&A with your specific questions
  • We will work through the descriptions of your work experience to make them clear, concise and convey the true skills you possess.
Prerequisites
You will need to send me your most recent resume along with the job postings of your top 3 dream jobs or internships.
