You'll learn how to build a network and manage relationships to accomplish your goals. Your best BD resume is demonstrated hustle, resourcefulness, and endorsements from trusted connections to open the door - in this class you'll learn how to prove and package all of the above.

I’ve personally used relationship building to get my last 4 jobs: When I left college, I had no idea what HTML was... 6 months later I was working for a Peter Thiel backed startup... 14 months later I was being incubated to run my own startup... 24 months later I was the 2nd half of a BD team that helped my company be acquired for $100M.

In this class, you'll research the startup landscape to get a better understanding of where you plug in. You'll come up with a targeted relationship building plan to make the connections you need to break into the startup world - an entree into networking and managing a pipeline - both core skills for business development. You'll also carve out your BD niche - what category of Business Development would you contribute the most value to? - and figure out how to stand out to the companies you want to work with.
