What You’ll Learn
In this course we'll examine the possibilities of the bicycle as well as ways to harness bicycle-generated energy. First we'll look at examples of past innovations, current trends, and future potentials for the relationship between human and bicycle. We will cover the fundamentals of mechanical motion while using traditional concepts in new ways.

In each class session, we'll develop an understanding of bike mechanics through skill-building exercises and encourages creativity through innovation. Like an anatomy class, tools, parts, and functions will all be explained.

Class members are expected to construct a bike-powered device from start to finish that will be exhibited at the completion of the class at 3rd Ward! Visit our website for more information: http://www.3rdward.com/3rdwardclasses/bike-sculpture.html
