Beginning Dress Construction

Start sewing with us in Williamsburg this summer! We teach in a fun, no pressure creative environment.

Course Description:

Studens will apply basic knowledge of sewing to pattern making, inserting elastic and other garment construction methods.
By the end of the course, students will construct a dress and be able to apply that knowledge to future ready-to-wear projects!
*Basic sewing machine knowledge is required.

Details:

Course registration includes use of machines and sewing tools.
Students will be provided with elastic, tools and sewing machines for class use.
4 seats available per class.

Student Purchase/Supplies Needed

3-4 yards Fabric (depending on design)
Ruler and Pattern Paper (craft paper and/or drawing paper)
Coordinating Bias Tape

Prerequisites

Basic machine sewing experience is requires
