In this class you will learn how to play the award-winning game, Settlers of Catan. It's incredibly easy to pick up and play amongst friends, young and old.
What is Settlers of Catan exactly? The island of Catan is a wealth of resources, and you must gather these resources for you to flourish and expand your society over Catan. Roll the dice for your settlements to mine oar, chop wood, build brick, gather wool, or harvest wheat. You can also trade your resources with other players. With enough resources, you can build roads and more settlements, which give you Victory Points. The first to reach 10 Victory Points is deemed the Lord of Catan! But watch out for other players…they may block your roads and settlements and they can even steal your resources!
Settlers of Catan is a game of strategy and a bit of luck. It has won numerous awards since 1995, from the Meeples Choice Award to Germany's Game of the Year to Games Magazine Hall of Fame.
