The three biggest mistakes I see in business are the following:
1- Selling too much
2- Acting in a way they think will be well received by the potential partner
3- Acting like you know everything
What I've learned by sitting down with some of the most powerful CMO's in the world is that you're not selling anything. And "acting" is a sure fire way to be sniffed out as a fake.
How many of you are afraid to admit you don't the answer to something?
How many of you find yourself thinking about how you should act, what to say and if they'll like you or how much "selling" you'll have to do?
There is a way to be a refined version of yourself, to learn the delicate balance necessary to create credibility and trust and to do so with enough people that your venture is grown 10x.
I promise you this is the most honest and straight forward class for why your business is stagnant and how partnerships, in the realest way, can help you grow.
And as for why I'm teaching this? I do this everyday. I've worked with ambassadors, high-level government officials, business minds like Seth Godin and Derek Sivers and with the largest brands in the world like Kraft, GE and New York Life.
I believe down to my bones that you need to learn this and I can show you how.
This class is being taught as part of the Penny Conference Morning Master Classes. All proceeds from this class will be donated to Pencils of Promise.
