Turn your phone into a high-powered telescope! We'll be learning various way of attaching our phones to really long lenses & telescopes, from the very cheap to the reasonably more expensive. We'll learn how to safely capture sunspots on our nearest star, locate and observe the rings of Saturn, and take fantasticly sharp photos of the craters on the moon, weather permitting.
Expect a light sprinkilng of astronomical facts, space geekery & perspective mixed in with the conversation.
If you have 'em, bring your standard white iPhone headphones & a tripod. I'll provide a few small & one large telescope for us to share.
If you're inclined feel free to pick up this fantastically cheap telescope on Amazon. It's enough to see all of the above & comes with a tripod.
