As the co-founder and Lead Trainer of Dapper Training, Leo da Silva holds a degree in Music Technology from the University of Oregon and a Recording Arts degree from Full Sail University. Beyond being a seasoned ACT in Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Soundtrack Pro, iLife and iWork, Leo develops courses to complement software instruction. These customized courses include DSLR production, Grammar of the Edit, Grammar of the Shoot, Lighting for Video, Capturing Audio for Video and Timelapse Photography. He has worked with clients like NBCUniversal, HBO, Estee Lauder Companies, Under Armour, Hearst Corp, the Morgans Hotel Group and the BBC, as well as Kanye West, Moby, OneRepublic, Snoop Dogg, Mos Def, Dave Chappelle, Richard Dreyfuss, Rosie Perez and Roberta Flack. Having served as Assistant Manager of Chung King Studios in New York, he brings a real-world perspective for his audio courses that students admire. And when he's not in the classroom, Leo works on various projects ranging from recording, mixing and audio post-production to music videos and high speed video.
