Digital photography has come a long way over the past 10 years, but it’s roots will always be planted firmly within analog fundamentals. Take a step away from the computer and learn what all those buttons truly mean. This class will take you through the basics of aperture, f-stop, and film speed as well as the beauty of shooting on ‘manual.’ We’ll also discuss how to apply analog photography techniques to your digital work flow and image processing. Taught by award-winning analog photographer Jesse Freidin.
Students: Please bring your preferred digital camera to class (w/ batteries, flash cards, and lenses). Please have a basic understanding of your camera's functions, menus, and Photoshop/Lightroom processing techniques.
